Elliston Monkey Boy

Several locals have reported sighting what has been described as a "crazy monkey boy" climbing over the historic Elliston jetty. No-one knew from where he came, although there have also been sightings in the local pub and in the Elliston Caravan park.
Said to feed mainly on fish others have caught and filleted for him, and to drink only Cooper's Pale Ale, locals have described him as quiet and not a trouble-maker, except when there is an acoustic guitar in the vicinity.
The Monkey Boy seems to be attracted to both the historic jetty and the water, cartwheeling and cantering about in the waves in the warm afternoons.
So far he has not imposed a threat, and the community are thinking of making him a mascot. Attempts to communicate with him have so far been awkward, but they are confident a range of fridge magnets featuring his image could be a hot seller in the Internet Communications Centre shop.
