First Born, Second Born

Was what Mum originally wanted to name my brother and I, fearing that we would both hate the names given to us, and this would allow us to choose our own. We ended up being given names however that we both liked.

As it does sometimes, during the trip to Australia, the conversation came round amongst those of us currently without children (which was in fact all of us present at the time), "What Will You Name Your Children?".

The Boy considered the question for a moment.

mutant zucchini

"Zucchini".

He was not kidding.

"I like the sound of it", he explained.

I see a serious disagreement lurking in the distant future.......
