Big. Shaky. Stuff fell over. Details coming.
4 in Kanagawa, 3 in Tokyo and Chiba.
No tsunami warning.
Update 3:00am - mostly 3 across Yokohama
Update 3:15am: The epicenter was just off from the Tokai area (Izu and Atami). It was a strong 4 and has affected mostly the Shizuoka and Kanagawa areas.
Update 3:20am: Reporting in on telly now that no reports of damage have come in. Not much fell over.
They are not expecting further tremors, and no tsunami has been issued.
Seems to have been very restricted to this area (Tokai).
Elevators have stopped in buildings. Possibly water has stopped in some areas closer to the epicenter.
So far no injuries have been reported.
Update 3:25 am: Ok we are having a slight aftershock here now.
That one was a 3.
Odawara and Izu seem to be the most affected by both quakes. No tsunami warning has been issued.
The first quake went from between 20 and 30 seconds.
