A Room with no View

I have view envy. I really noticed it yesterday when I went to hang out the washing, careful not to stub my toe on the balcony wall as I stepped out the door (it's very narrow). All you can see are the backs of other buildings. Yuck.
I've lived in some places with great views. The my bedroom in the borderline-condemned place in Ultimo, Sydney, looked out over Darling Harbour. Also in Sydney in Bourke Street our ample balcony looked onto the street, often thronging with party-goers. After Mardi Gras was especially fun as we would turn up the stereo, make cups of tea and have little morning after recoveries with the costumed strangers on the street.
I can't think of one redeeming point for my current view...
Challenge: If you think your view is crappier than mine please send a pic and a description to gomichild@hellokitty.com. If it is dire enough I'll post it (^^)

*throws down the gauntlet*
I no longer qualify, but in my last apartment in Nakano, I had one window. And the view? A very close brick wall. I stayed there for two years and never felt compelled to take a picture.
Added by: Jen at 2003年04月11日 10:02The view from my appartment in Yokohama is not fantastic, but I can not complain, I guess. Take a look a "180 degrees photo view from my windows on the East and West:
